Orion Talent, a customer-centric company focused on helping people discover meaningful careers and businesses grow by finding, delivering, and engaging the best talent around the world, is currently recruiting for the Senior HR Business Partner position with a leading manufacturer and distributor of fresh foodservice and food merchandising products and fresh beverage cartons.Position DetailsLocation: Pine Bluff, ARSalary: $111,500/yrPosition DescriptionAs the Senior Human Resource Business Partner, you will collaborate with operations and maintenance on labor relations and human resources matters. Responsibilities will include:Handle labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refer complex matters to appropriate management staff.Act as a key business partner and leader to the operational and maintenance organizations.Use key metrics to drive project focus and process improvement within the mill operations.Serve as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints and grievances.Conduct interviews and gather information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; inform the HR Manager when additional investigation is required.Participate in and provide input in to key Talent decisions.Partner with VP-Labor Relations and HR Manager to conduct surveys, interviews, data collection, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and labor negotiations.Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to NLRA, EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.Assist with preparation of plans, policies, and documents, affirmative action plans, contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Accounting, or related field required.At least five (5) years of professional human resources business partner experience within a complex manufacturing organization.Analytical skills and ability use metrics to drive decision making.Strong business acumen.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization.Strong customer focus.Excellent organizational skills.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence leaders.Master's Degree in Human Resources or MBA.SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred or advanced degree in HR.Prior experience in labor relations.Paper mill environment HR experience.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ADP, ATS, Kronos, or related tools.
