Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Description As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within vacant units to prepare them for new tenants. While specializing in HVAC, you will also perform general maintenance tasks such as patching, spackling, painting, replacing light fixtures, fixing leaky faucets, and other related duties. Responsibilities Repair and maintain HVAC systems in vacant units. Perform general maintenance tasks such as patching, spackling, and painting. Replace broken fixtures like shower bars and vanities. Fix leaky faucets and replace toilets. Conduct minor plumbing repairs and electrical work, including re-wiring fans and light fixtures. Essential Skills Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Experience with drywall repair, general labor, and painting. Ability to work autonomously and efficiently. Work Environment This role operates within a real estate property company, working Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The work environment is structured yet supportive, providing opportunities to demonstrate and develop a broad range of maintenance skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
