Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role requires a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with severe disabilities and autism in a K-12 school setting located in Dover, Delaware. The position is a full-time, onsite contract lasting through June 12, 2026, with working hours Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities include: Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSP) Participating as an active member of the crisis team and performing de-escalation when necessary Collaborating with the educational team to set and monitor behavior goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Supporting staff and students with behavioral needs through ongoing data collection and intervention assistance Qualifications and experience desired: Active Delaware Licensure/Certification as a BCBA (proof of current certification required) Experience working with a population spanning ages 2 through 22 with severe disabilities and autism Strong skills in behavior management, crisis intervention, and assessment techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a school environment This assignment offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive and structured setting.
