FLIGHT DYNAMICS ENGINEER WANTED
This role is a Re-Location to NJ (Confidential)
Are you a highly motivated Aerospace Engineer looking for a new
challenge? Do you have a Ph.D. in Engineering with expertise in
aeromechanics, flight dynamics, and control? If so, we have an
exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Flight Dynamics
Engineer to join our team and work on the analysis and design of
algorithms, sensors, and actuators that enhance the stability and
performance characteristics of flying vehicles.
Responsibilities:
--- Design and analyze flight algorithms, sensors, and actuators to
enhance aircraft stability and performance.
--- Perform numerical analysis and software development for
modeling and simulation of aircraft flight mechanics.
--- Contribute to the development of aircraft simulations and
control systems.
--- Conduct research and development in the areas of aeromechanics,
flight dynamics, and control.
--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful
completion of projects.
Requirements:
--- Ph.D. in Engineering from an accredited college or university
in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical
Engineering, or related discipline with an emphasis in
aeromechanics, flight dynamics, modeling and simulation, and
control. Will consider ME or MEng w/experience. (Not interested in
people with experience only in Finite Element analysis.)
--- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and the ability
to use calculations, models, and simulations to predict and
understand how objects behave under various physical
conditions.
--- Broad and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft flight mechanics,
simulation, and control. Background in rotorcraft (helicopter) and
VTOL (vehicle take-off and landing) aircraft is preferred.
--- Proficiency in one or more scientific or engineering
programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, Fortran, C,
or C++.
--- Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and
interpersonal skills.
--- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part
of a team.
Required Skillsets:
--- Training and Flight Simulation (TS) - This skill set does not
have a specific Aerospace Industry abbreviation, but the closest
would be "FSTD" which stands for "Flight Simulation Training
Device"
--- Air Vehicle External Noise (AEN) - ANP: Acoustics and Noise
Control
--- Rotorcraft, VTOL Designing of Aircraft (RVD) - UAV: Unmanned
Aerial Vehicle / RPV: Remotely Piloted Vehicle / STOVL: Short
Take-Off and Vertical Landing
--- Full Vehicle Aeromechanics (FVA) - FVD: Flight Vehicle Dynamics
/ CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics / FEM: Finite Element
Method
--- Turbomachinery Aeromechanics (TMA) - TFE: Turbomachinery and
Fluid Engineering / CFD: Computational Fluid Dynamics
--- Modeling of Tactical Measures (MTM) - MST: Missile System

Benefits:
Base salary is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000 per
year, though higher salaries may be considered for candidates with
additional experience. We provide a comprehensive benefits package
that includes paid vacation and sick time, company-paid health

and long-term disability insurance, 401K and participation in
Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP). Located in NJ With Company
Paid Re-Location.
