Job Description Job Description Location: Austin, TX– 4x/week onsite Travel: 10–15% Contract: 12 months Start Date: ASAP Interview: 1 & done (45 min, virtual) This Architect II role to support a state agency with a ADA compliance project for 78 rest stop areas. You’ll be the main point of contact turning ADA assessment findings into clear scopes of work and contractor-ready design documents. You’ll work closely with two senior architects and a very collaborative team. What You’ll Do Review ADA assessment reports and verify issues during occasional site visits (10–15% travel). Organize findings into clean tracking spreadsheets with priorities and recommended fixes. Create contract documents contractors will use to complete ADA corrections. Coordinate projects from assessment ? scope ? design ? execution. Help with additional facility repair or safety-related design work as needed. What They’re Looking For 2–5 yReears of architectural experience (commercial preferred). Strong AutoCAD and Revit skills — able to work independently. Comfortable working with Microsoft 365 tools. Strong communicator who can take ownership quickly. ADA experience is a plus, but not required.
