Job Description Job Description Description: Quantic BEI | Aerospace & Defense Technology Quantic BEI is seeking a motivated Electrical and/or Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work on custom electronics and embedded systems designed for extreme environments supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. What You’ll Do Assist with circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout Support embedded firmware development (C/C++, Python, or similar) Help with hardware bring-up, debugging, and prototype testing Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, etc.) Contribute to system integration and engineering documentation Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in aerospace and defense electronics Mentorship from experienced engineers Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering projects Potential pathway to full-time opportunities If you’re passionate about building real hardware and software that operates in extreme environments, we’d love to hear from you. Requirements: What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering Foundation in circuit theory and/or embedded systems Programming experience (C, C++, Python, or similar) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Relevant Hobbies and Interests We value hands-on experience gained through personal projects and hobbies.
