Avis Budget Group seeks an experienced and dedicated Mobile Truck Mechanic to join our team, enhancing the performance and reliability of our diverse fleet of vehicles. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional service and efficiency by conducting on-site repairs and routine maintenance for trucks that enable smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in vehicle mechanics will help maintain the superior standard of our renowned brands, Avis, Budget, and Zipcar, and support our commitment to innovation and excellence in the mobility solutions industry. Conduct on-site repairs and preventive maintenance on trucks and other vehicles to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide timely, accurate repairs. Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance per manufacturer's recommendations. Manage onsite inventory of parts and tools needed for effective field service. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Travel to multiple locations to meet vehicles needing service or repair. Provide emergency roadside assistance as and when required. Profound knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in trucks and heavy vehicles. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose using standard tools and equipment. Strong time management and customer service skills. Proficiency in the use of automotive repair software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Certification in Medium-Heavy Truck (T-Series) Valid driver's license, Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
