Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist II provides specialized care across
all age groups, performing assessments, administering therapies,
and monitoring patient progress. Responsibilities include operating
ventilators, conducting blood gas analysis, airway clearance, and
emergency response participation. Requires completion of an
accredited Respiratory Care program, 2+ years of experience, and
appropriate licensure and certifications (RCP, BLS, ACLS, NBRC
CRT/RRT).
Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills, and
ability to handle high-stress situations.
Cross-training in various units, community service, and ongoing
education are encouraged.
