Job Description:
The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will provide clinical care
for patients in a specialized mental health facility serving
children and teens aged 6-17. Responsibilities include evaluating,
diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral
disorders using psychotherapy and medication. Practitioners must
review medical information, develop care plans, and ensure
documentation compliance. Must practice within federal, state, and
facility protocols, maintaining confidentiality and accurate
billing. Qualifications include a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD
or DO), current state medical license, and board certification or
eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. DEA credentials for
prescribing controlled substances are required. This role is part
of a larger network providing inpatient, outpatient, and
residential behavioral health services.
