travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing

Nurse - Health Advocates Network is urgently hiring NICU RNs with
at least 3 years of recent experience! IMMEDIATE STARTS! /n /n -
Travel packages up to $2528weekly /n - Shift:13 week DAYS contracts
available /n - Specialty: NICU Registered Nurse (RN) /n /n /n
Requirements: /n /n - Active AR State Registered Nurse License /n -
Valid BLS /n - Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing /n -
Additional certifications may be required /n /n /n The NICU has 104
beds, with 8 bed per pod. Prior travel experience is not required;
must have 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NNICU.
NCC Neonatal ICU RN preferred. Ratios: 1:1-3/4 based on acuity.
Ancillary assistance: 1-2 PCTs per shift. Mil lab/tech located near
the unit. Advanced Practice is present on the unit. Floating is
required within the ICU cluster (NICU, PICU and Burn). Travelers
are first to float. RNs should expect 2-3 days of orientation and
specialty testing for the facility. EMR is EPIC. Med system is
Pyxis. Scheduling by manager or scheduler; no self scheduling. No
on call requirements. Every other weekend is required. Holidays
required, as needed. Patient population: Typical patient population
(diagnosis) / surgical procedures completed: 23 weeks
micro-premies, VLBW, usual complications of prematurity, general
surgeries, chronic lung, bleeds, spina bifida, diaphragmatic
hernia, NEC perforation, gastro, cleft lip/palate/mandible,
transfers from surrounding Level II NNICUs, PDA ligations, body
cooling. Average length of patient stay: 40 days Equipment: GE,
Servo, Kangaroo Care, ECMO, Nitric Oxide, HFOV, Jet Vent
(occasional), & IMV /n Respiratory and Anesthesia available for
