qualified CVICU RN in Mountain Home, Arkansas, 72653! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13

years preferred License: Current RN License in good standing
Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: Proficient with
post-open heart / CABG Description: Our 17-bed ICU/CSICU is home to
highly-trained staff who care for a wide range of patients, from
neonates to geriatrics. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art
technology. We provide care for cardiovascular patients who have
undergone procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting,
thoracotomy, carotid stenting, and heart valve replacement or
repair. Our team is experienced in caring for those undergoing
interventional and non-interventional procedures, as well as
general surgery procedures. We utilize advanced therapies that
require specialized equipment, such as intra-aortic balloon pumps,
induced hypothermia, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and the
Impella Heart Pump. Join our cohesive and collaborative team where

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care for assigned
patients on the nursing unit and offering leadership within the
nursing team. Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose,
plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients.
Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus
on promoting evidence-based care within a healing culture for the
patient population served and their families. Education includes
graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with an ADN
required and a BSN preferred. Candidates must be able to read,
write, and communicate effectively, with basic computer knowledge
required. This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance
