versatile professionals, our Float RNs operate across all acute
care units within the hospital, ensuring seamless operations. They
deliver direct patient care, adhering to the nursing process and
relevant standards of practice. Role Responsibilities: Implement
care plans, including administering medications, collecting
specimens, and providing clinical treatments. Document all patient
care activities. Monitor, record, and communicate patient
conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families as
necessary. Assist patients with daily living activities such as
personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility. Collaborate with various
disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers,
discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial needs.
Assess the educational needs of patients and families, providing
tailored education based on age, culture, and circumstances.
Advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients. Oversee
daily staffing assignments and levels. Guide, train, and mentor
staff, including conducting performance evaluations and managing
disciplinary actions. Ensure quality service delivery and
facilitate staff development programs, ensuring compliance with
policies and procedures. Fulfill staff responsibilities as needed
to maintain service levels. Lead the resolution of complex issues
and complaints. Essential Qualifications: Associate's Degree in
Nursing, required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred Current
RN license to practice in Kentucky Certifications: BCLS; ACLS &
