organization initiated an expansion of the intensive care unit
(ICU), which will increase its capacity by 75%, adding six new beds
to the existing eight. This development also includes enhancements
to an advanced care unit (ACU) and space for a new surgical suite,
allowing us to meet the evolving surgical needs of our community.
Role Overview: Administers care plans, including medication
delivery, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Records and
documents all patient care activities. Monitors, logs, and
communicates patient conditions to the care team, physicians,
patients, and families as necessary. Assists patients with daily
living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination,
and mobility. Collaborates with various disciplines to ensure
coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges,
referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial needs. Assesses
the educational needs of patients and their families, providing
tailored education based on age, culture, condition, and
circumstances. Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional
health of patients. Essential Qualifications: Associate's Degree in
Nursing, mandatory Current KY RN state licensure or compact
licensure, mandatory Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification within 10 days of hire Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of
hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 45
days of hire Handle With Care training within 30 days of hire Equal
