more Unit Overview: Recently, we have made significant enhancements
to our surgical facilities, including the addition of a sixth
operating room and the construction of a seventh. We are also in
the process of upgrading communication systems in our surgical
suites. These improvements include new monitors, towers, cameras,
and scopes, enhancing the quality and visibility of our surgical
procedures. Alongside these physical upgrades, we are expanding our
surgical team and increasing the number of cases we handle
annually. In 2023, we successfully completed 7,837 surgical
procedures, reflecting a 12% increase from the previous year. Role
Overview: The RN will deliver both direct and indirect patient care
by employing the nursing process, which includes assessment,
planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role addresses the
physical, psychosocial, religious, and cultural needs of patients
and their families. Effective communication with all healthcare
team members regarding any changes in patient conditions or
responses to treatment is essential. Key Responsibilities: Carry
out assigned tasks and responsibilities. Conduct focused patient
assessments and perform necessary reassessments. Evaluate patient
conditions, treatments, and medications administered. Assess and
manage pain effectively using appropriate techniques. Provide
patient care while communicating effectively with individuals of
all ages and specific needs. Demonstrate knowledge of medications
and ensure their correct administration, adhering to the six rights
of medication administration to minimize errors. Assist physicians
during procedures and perform tasks requiring technical and manual
skills. Minimum Qualifications: Willingness to take on-call shifts.
Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state. Associate’s
Degree in Nursing Required . BLS certification within 7 days of
hire . Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred . Strong critical
thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work
independently. Must thrive in a high-pressure environment and
