more Role Overview The Registered Nurse will deliver direct patient
care utilizing the nursing process in alignment with established
standards and practices. This role includes supervising, teaching,
and delegating tasks to other nursing staff. Provide comprehensive
patient care in a safe environment that minimizes the risk of
medical errors. Develop and adjust individualized care plans based
on patient responses and evaluate their effectiveness daily.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions to the care
team, providers, patients, and families, following the appropriate
chain of command. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure
coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges,
referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial needs. Assess the
educational needs of patients and families, offering tailored
education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Act
as an advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being,
safeguarding their rights. Qualifications Willingness to take on
call shifts Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required ACLS and BCLS certifications
Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Preferred Strong critical
thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work
