This role encompasses clinical leadership, collaboration with various specialists, and administrative duties within a fully equipped emergency center that is part of a larger healthcare network. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facility Medical Director (FMD) to guide our team at a prominent emergency center, which is an extension of a well-known medical facility. This high-traffic emergency department is recognized for its outstanding teamwork, community trust, and strong collaboration with the leadership team. Facility Highlights Freestanding emergency department associated with a major medical center 10-bed facility offering comprehensive, 24/7 emergency services Daily physician coverage of 24 hours (12-hour shifts) On-site services including CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and laboratory Access to specialists in cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, and OB/Gyn through the affiliated medical center Utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records Part of two affiliated freestanding emergency departments in the area Located just 30 minutes from Austin Position Details W2 employment status Attractive base salary with an RVU compensation model Comprehensive health benefits and insurance coverage Monthly administrative stipend along with opportunities for quality bonuses Generous sign-on bonus Close partnership with the leadership team of the affiliated medical center Possibility to share shifts between the emergency department and a Level II Trauma Center with an annual volume of 86,000 To discover more about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply today.
