Diem/PRN - Mercy Stoddard and Nearby Areas This role is for a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will work on a flexible, per
diem basis across various departments, including Behavioral Health,
Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, at multiple hospital
locations. The position entails delivering patient care under
supervision, necessitating relevant certifications such as BLS and
IV certification, along with the physical endurance required for
nursing responsibilities. This opportunity provides adaptable

under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will maintain
professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned
patients, coordinating with other departments to ensure
comprehensive patient care while upholding patient rights and
confidentiality. Position Overview: Facility: Mercy Hospital
Stoddard and Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per
Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Various Shifts Available BeAMercyNurse
Incentives: $30/hour Variable Shift Incentive W-2 Employee Status
Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days Maximum of 30 hours per week
(Sunday to Saturday) Shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour formats

Summary: Are you in search of a flexible, incentivized Licensed
Practical Nurse role? You can choose between day or night shifts
based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday,
or shift commitments. Participation in the Gig Nursing Program
requires you to schedule a minimum number of hours, be available on
short notice, and remain flexible, as shifts may be canceled at the
last minute. Note that the Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee
shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations. The Licensed
Practical Nurse - GIG will have the opportunity to float between
selected Mercy Hospital facilities. Departments Seeking GIG LPNs:
Behavioral Health (BH) Emergency Department (ED) Intensive Care
Unit (ICU) Medical-Surgical (MS) Facilities/Locations: Mercy St.
Louis - St. Louis, MO Mercy Jefferson - Festus, MO Mercy South -
South St. Louis County, MO Mercy Washington - Washington, MO Mercy
Lincoln - Troy, MO Mercy Perry - Perryville, MO Mercy Southeast -
Cape Girardeau, MO Mercy Stoddard - Dexter, MO Qualifications:
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Licensure: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program;
equivalent educational experience and successful licensure may be
considered. You must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in
the state where you perform nursing duties and comply with all
State Board of Nursing requirements. Experience: A minimum of one
year of recent bedside LPN experience is required for
Medical-Surgical roles. For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), at
least two years of recent bedside LPN experience is necessary.
Certifications: For Medical-Surgical (MS) - BLS For Critical Care
(CC) - BLS, ACLS For Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS
IV certification is mandatory. Preferred Experience: Experience
with Epic software is advantageous. Physical Requirements: This
position necessitates the ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to
50 pounds regularly. Prolonged standing and walking are required
during each shift, along with the capability to grip, reach, bend,
