your responsibilities will include: Implementing care plans, which
involve administering medications, collecting specimens, and
providing clinical treatments. Documenting all patient care
activities. Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the
care team, physicians, patients, and their families. Assisting
patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene,
nutrition, and mobility. Collaborating with various disciplines to
ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges,
referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial needs. Assessing
the educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored
education throughout the perioperative process. Advocating for the
physical and emotional health of patients. Evaluating and caring
for surgical patients throughout the perioperative journey,
including preadmission testing, day-of-surgery preparation, and
post-operative care across different phases. Minimum
Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nursing (required) Bachelor's
Degree in Nursing (preferred) Current RN license to practice in
Kentucky Required Skills: Strong critical thinking abilities, sound
judgment, and the capacity to work independently are essential. The
role requires functioning effectively in a high-pressure
environment and taking appropriate actions. Certifications: Basic
Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 10 days of hire; ACLS
and PALS - to be obtained within six months of hire. Licenses:
Registered Nurse - Kentucky State Licensure or Compact Licensure is
