ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech Job Details: • Call required 1 day per week, Friday and every 3rd weekend • Block scheduling with 3 orientation hours • Patient ratio of 5 during days, with approximately 40 visits per day • Work in 3 rooms with 3 beds, serving patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Perform ultrasound examinations in department, surgery, emergency department, and patient floors • Conduct special procedures including ultrasound guided breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis • Operate Siemens ultrasound equipment with appropriate transducers for patient populations • Must be graduate of Ultrasound/Sonography program with minimum 1 year related experience • Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT, current CPR, BLS, AR License • Travel experience highly preferred • Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred • Trauma Level II experience preferred • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Must have ability to lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds with proper body mechanics • Must handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure • Weekend coverage: when fully staffed with 4 technologists, each tech covers 1 weekend Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with an average daily census of 350 patients. The facility provides advanced imaging services including specialized ultrasound procedures and maintains modern Siemens equipment. The organization offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
