Job Description EEG Technologist – Neurodiagnostics Location:
Bismarck, ND Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Day | 7:00 AM – 5:00
PM On-Call: Rotating EEG on-call schedule Pay Range: $22.50 –
$36.00 per hour Position Summary The EEG Technologist is
responsible for performing neurodiagnostic procedures, primarily
electroencephalography (EEG), in an acute care hospital setting.
This role supports inpatient, ICU, and neonatal populations and
works collaboratively with a small team to ensure accurate
diagnostic testing while maintaining patient safety and quality
standards. Schedule & Work Environment Onsite hospital-based role
Works alongside 1–2 EEG technologists Daytime hours between 7:00 AM
– 5:00 PM Participation in a rotating EEG on-call schedule Key
Responsibilities Perform routine, long-term, ICU, and neonatal EEG
monitoring Prepare patients physically and emotionally for
neurodiagnostic procedures Follow established patient safety,
infection control, and sterilization protocols Calibrate,
troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on EEG equipment
Identify equipment malfunctions and document/report issues
appropriately Monitor and maintain inventory of EEG supplies and
equipment Accurately document procedures, findings, and patient
data Analyze EEG recordings and produce clear summary reports for
physician review Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and
accreditation standards Equipment & Systems Used Epic (OneChart)
Natus Xltek Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in
neurodiagnostics Knowledge of EEG procedures and patient safety
standards Ability to work independently and collaboratively within
a clinical team Preferred Certifications (Not Required) Registered
EEG Technologist (R.EEG.T.) – preferred Registered Polysomnographic
Technologist (RPSGT) – preferred Additional Information Candidates
