The Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing
process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and
evaluation—to deliver personalized nursing care to residents. This
role involves collaboration with residents, families, and
interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to
plan, execute, and assess care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency
and operate within the full spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering
to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical
environment. Responsibilities include caring for residents across
all stages of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and
treatment. The RN may take on the role of charge nurse, delegating
appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
based on job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the
competencies of the delegates. Adequate support will be provided to
ensure safe and effective resident care and to address any service
concerns. The RN will function within the guidelines of the Nurse
Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and
licensure. Professional nursing practice is grounded in the Scope
and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as
established by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is
preferred, including but not limited to CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA. A
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Must possess an
unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the
state of practice, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse
Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Must obtain and maintain required
department-specific competencies and certifications. Benefits Our
