remained strong. About the position: Arkana Laboratories is seeking
a highly skilled and motivated pathologist to train to be a
qualified renal pathologist under the pathology staff in accordance
with the recognized professional standard of care and the bylaws of

into the field of renal pathology that might be for you. Arkana is
a private practice comprised of 25 board-certified renal
pathologists and two neuropathologists and is supported by more
than 200 technical and administrative staff. Each year, Arkana
Laboratories accessions thousands of adult, pediatric and
transplant kidney biopsies from multiple states. You will find a
highly supportive environment with challenging diagnostic material,
an interesting daily case conference, journal club, and multiple
teaching opportunities. All this adds up to the perfect place to
train pathologists to transition into renal pathology experts. We
have been thoughtful to minimize the difficulty of a mid-career
transition by offering a competitive compensation package during
training that transitions into a full-time position at the
completion of training. Our practice is located in a single site
and does not have intraoperative consultations or onsite
requirements during weeknight call for pathologists. What you'll
do: Be involved, as requested, in sign-out of renal biopsy cases,
including complete review of clinical history and all slides/EM,
complete dictation of all the components of the report,
responsibility of ordering any stains/tests deemed appropriate and
follow-up Participate in conferences and presentations, as a
participant or presenter, as requested, including daily case review
conferences, CPC conferences in regional hospitals, online
conferences, and journal club presentation Communicate and conduct
oneself in a professional manner with respect towards all other
team members of Arkana Laboratories, as well as patients, outside
visitors and clients Maintain professional conduct in a way not to
infringe any Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ("CLIA")
and College of American Pathologists ("CAP") requirements Be
eligible to submit license application to practice medicine in the
State of Arkansas Be certified or eligible to be certified by the
American Board of Pathology Physician shall faithfully adhere to
all professional ethics and customs, shall avoid all acts, habits
and usages which might injure in any way, directly or indirectly,
the professional reputation of Company Other duties as assigned You
should have: Education : Successful completion of a program of
study resulting in an M.D., or foreign equivalent, and with
successful completion of all USMLE steps. Experience: Completion of
a residency in the specialty in which physician will practice. At
least two years of experience as a practicing pathologist. Computer
Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Proficient Excel skills required.
Strong computer skills required. Applicants must hold an MD or DO
degree and be certified by the American Board of Pathology in
Anatomic Pathology. The ability to obtain a medical license in the
