Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - PICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts in the PICU /n• May occasionally float to NICU, CVICU, IMU, or Burn ICU as needed /n• Floating is required within the ICU cluster and travelers are first to float /n• Every other weekend schedule required /n• No on-call responsibilities, but holidays are required as needed /n• Schedule is manager/scheduler driven /n• 3 years of recent PICU experience required /n• Previous travel experience (1-2 assignments) required /n• Recent EPIC EMR experience required /n• Active Arkansas or Compact License required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS /n• Must pass fit test with no facial hair unless for religious beliefs /n• Must test negative for nicotine /n• Expect 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing /n• Follow facility dress code requirements /n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: PICU 1:1-2, IMCU 1:3-4 /n• Work with EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication system /n• Care for patients with respiratory distress, CRRT, ECMO, post arrest, trauma, neuro conditions, surgical post-ops, and various pediatric specialties /n• Collaborate with CNA/PCT support (1-2 per shift), residents, fellows, and attending physicians /n/n Facility: /n This major pediatric healthcare facility is a 359-bed trauma level 1 teaching hospital specializing in comprehensive children's healthcare services. The facility features a 26-bed PICU and 13-bed IMCU, providing advanced critical care for pediatric patients.
