II – Night Shift | College Station, TX A highly regarded healthcare
system in College Station, Texas, is seeking a certified Medical
Laboratory Scientist II to join its laboratory team on a night
shift (7-on/7-off) schedule. This opportunity is ideal for lab
professionals who are ASCP-certified (or equivalent) and have at
least one year of hands-on experience in a clinical setting. If

Key Responsibilities Perform and analyze a comprehensive range of
laboratory tests according to departmental procedures and
regulatory standards Report accurate and timely test results to
support effective patient diagnosis and treatment Calibrate,
maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure
operational excellence Follow strict quality control and infection
prevention policies Maintain supply inventory and contribute to
efficient lab operations Communicate clearly with team members and
external departments to ensure seamless workflows Assist in
training new lab personnel and contribute to ongoing education
initiatives Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in
Medical Laboratory Science or related field, or 4 years of
qualifying work experience beyond the minimum Experience: At least
1 year of generalist laboratory experience in a clinical setting is
required Certification: Must hold valid certification from one of
the following organizations: American Society for Clinical
Pathology (ASCP) American Medical Technologists (AMT) American
Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) American Board of
Histocompatibility (ABHI) Grandfathered HEW Licensee accepted
Additional accepted credentials: CLS, MT, MLS, SCT, SCYM, CHS-ABHI,
CHT-ABHI, SMB Compensation & Benefits Schedule: Night Shift |
