Job Description JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Medical Oncologist Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Mountain Home, AR Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient Cancer Center Clinical Shift Schedule: Weekday clinic and hospital responsibilities On-Call Shift Schedule: 1:4 call rotation Call Ratio: 1:4 Call Response Time: As required for inpatient oncology needs PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults with cancer diagnoses Patient Volume/Census: To be determined; shared with 1 physician and 1 APP Case Mix: General medical oncology and hematology FACILITY INFORMATION On-Site Services: - Laboratory - Imaging (CT, PET, X-Ray, Ultrasound) - On-site Pharmacy - Infusion Services - Radiation Oncology Support Staff Available: 1 Physician and 1 Advanced Practice Provider PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary: Competitive base salary plus production bonus Bonuses: Sign-on bonus included Relocation: Assistance provided Insurance: - Professional Liability Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance Retirement Plan: Included REQUIRED PROCEDURES Diagnosis and management of cancer and hematologic disorders Administration of chemotherapy and other systemic therapies Coordination with infusion and radiation oncology teams JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology Experience: Preferred but open to new graduates Other Qualifications: - Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration skills - Commitment to compassionate and evidence-based cancer care DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient and inpatient oncology services Collaborate with infusion, radiation, pharmacy, and imaging teams Participate in call rotation (1:4) Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives in cancer care Contribute to program growth and community outreach at Baxter Health
