Job Description Gastroenterology – Marshall, MI Board Certified / Board Eligible •Full-time Gastroenterologist opportunity in Marshall, Michigan•Employed position with the hospital•Replacement position due to growth and service needs•Well-established practice with:o1 seasoned GI physiciano1 APP currentlyo1 additional APP starting in ApriloStrong support staff and dedicated site manager•Office located in medical building attached to the hospital•Endoscopy Unit and Surgery Department in close proximity•Very light, shared call scheduleSchedule•Anticipated:o~3 days in Endoscopyo1 to 1.5 days in clinic•Option to discuss a 4-day work week•Office EMR: Athena•Hospital EMR: CernerCandidate Requirements•BC or BE (must become Board Certified within 2–3 years of start date)•MD or DO•Male or female candidates welcome•Considering new graduates and experienced physicians (with at least 5 years remaining in practice)•Not a visa sponsorship opportunityCompensation •Two-year guaranteed base salary aligned with MGMA median (negotiable)•Participation in physician compensation plan (wRVU bonus potential)•Commencement/sign-on bonus•Student debt allowance (negotiable)Contract Terms•2-year contract with automatic renewalBenefits•Commencement bonus/loan paid within 5 weeks of start and forgiven over a specified time•Relocation allowance reimbursed per IRS guidelines•Student debt allowance negotiable•30 days PTO (front-loaded every January)•6 paid holidays•CME allowance plus dedicated time away•Employee and family health insurance•Malpractice insurance including tail coverage (paid by hospital)•Retirement plans: 403b and 457b savings plans
