Operating Room Registered Nurses with expertise in Orthopedic/Neuro or General/Robotics specialties are sought for a travel assignment in Bismarck, ND. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a high-volume surgical environment featuring 12 OR suites, an Endoscopy suite, and a Cystoscopy suite with 25-30 cases conducted daily on average. Candidates must have a minimum of three years experience and be proficient in their chosen specialty, including familiarity with advanced technologies such as the DaVinci XI and ION robotics systems. Responsibilities: Support surgical teams in the OR through coordination and patient care without the requirement to scrub. Provide flexibility to float across specialties and assist with 1:1 patient care on the floor as needed. Participate in comprehensive orientation including 3-5 days of unit-specific training and supervised buddy shifts. Respond to call within 15 minutes; call frequency includes 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3-4 weekends, including holidays on a rotating basis. Collaborate with charge nurses and OR techs to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for patient documentation. Qualifications: Licensed RN with active credentials. Minimum of 3 years OR nursing experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics. BLS certification required. Willingness to float between specialties and support floor care duties. Comfortable working with advanced surgical equipment (DaVinci XI, ION robot, Stryker towers). Able to meet required call schedules and response times. Scheduling: 8-hour shifts, primarily 0645-1515 or 0900-1730. Call requirements include evening, weekend, and holiday rotations. Clinical supervisor manages schedule to balance workload.
