law firm near Portsmouth, NH looking to hire in their Family Law
practice. This role focuses on family law matters, requiring a
candidate with a strong background in civil litigation and the
ability to navigate complex legal issues. The ideal candidate will
have a proven track record in family law and hold an active license
to practice law in New Hampshire. Responsibilities: • Represent
clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child
custody, and alimony cases. • Conduct thorough legal research to
support case strategies and client representation. • Draft, review,
and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and
agreements. • Advocate on behalf of clients during negotiations,
mediations, and court proceedings. • Provide comprehensive legal
counsel and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options.
• Maintain compliance with state laws and ethical standards while
managing cases. • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and
staff to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. • Stay updated on
changes in family law and legal precedents to enhance case
strategies. • At least 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Active Bar license in the state of New Hampshire. • Strong
knowledge of civil litigation principles and procedures. •
Excellent legal research and analytical skills. • Proficient in
drafting and reviewing legal documents. • Effective communication
and negotiation abilities. • Ability to handle sensitive and
confidential matters with professionalism. • Commitment to
providing high-quality legal representation.
