Regional Business DeveloperAs a Regional Business Developer for PFSbrands, you will grow sales in your assigned geography, create lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with accounts and our Distributors, and represent the integrity, values, and brand of Champs Chicken, Coopers Express, and BluTaco. The position includes direct sales responsibility for key accounts, securing new business in existing and new accounts, and working closely with the distributor network in the assigned area to maintain and develop all accounts. You will serve as the voice of the brand across the assigned geography, executing marketing pull tactics, merchandising key accounts, and hosting both trade and consumer-focused events.#business development #franchise #food & beverage #food service #food sales #equipment sales #customer serviceWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?!100% Employee-Owned Company - work with like-minded, team players who love to WIN!Company Paid Health Insurance for employee-ownerEmployee Ownership Stock Program - at no cost to the employee-ownerCompany car and cell phoneGenerous Paid Time OffReferral Bonus for any PFSbrands positionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Champs Chicken, Coopers Express, and Private-Label branded program salesFocus in C-Store, Grocery, or Free StandingCold calls to potential customersFollow up on all show & other leadsDevelop & close dealsUtilize existing relationships to gain new referrals & leadsOversee details of new accounts from sales cycle through opening of account.Focus on filling truck routes or growing sales thru distribution partners with additional accounts.To ensure we close quality and profitable accounts that are dedicated to our various programs.Work closely with sales team of Business Advisors within sales territory.Maintain proper and accurate CRM customer records at all times.Equipment salesDevelop detailed knowledge of equipment used in deli environmentsDevelop & maintain relationship with large chains, engineers, & buyers of equipmentIdentify store needs to provide them with equipment solutionsDevelop & close dealsUse branded programs to drive equipment sales.Manage existing businessWork with office staff and Business Advisors to ensure all operating needs of customers are met.Work with Business Advisors preparing new accounts for opening.Cross sale of additional products to existing customer, based upon need.Visit existing accounts & maintain relationships with owner or decision-maker for leads or addition of multiple store locations.Business relationshipsDevelop & maintain business relationships that affect company profitability and goals.Other vendors & distributors work with to develop referrals, suppliers, or distributor networksAll other duties as assigned.Focus on achieving company goals.REQUIRED SKILLS:Ability to WIN DEALSSelf-starter with ability to work independently 95% of time, with no supervisionStrong work ethic and ability to travel overnight EXTENSIVELY Approximately 80%Sales oriented always focused on customer needs first!Ability to effectively communicate with all types of people from owners to hourly employees for business resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTechnological skill sets to include use of word, excel, Powerpoint, CRM, Web-X and other software as required AutoQuotes is a plusOrganization of business materials; internal, customer and project filesA positive attitude!Ability to manage high automobile drive time expectations, 3K-5K miles/monthPersistent in nature, follow up is a must!A likeable personalityAbility to manage time and schedule effectivelyQUALIFICATIONS:5 + years of sales experience: preferred grocery store, c-store, or deli operation knowledgeProven sales closer with foodservice or foodservice programsWORKING CONDITIONSApproximately 25% of the work is performed in an office setting.Significant auto and some air travel, up to 75% of the time, is required to cover the assigned territory.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
