Job Details As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing new and existing business opportunities. This is a high-impact role for a self-motivated sales professional with a hunter mentality, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial and industrial accounts across the assigned territory. Prospect and cold call to generate new leads and secure face-to-face meetings with potential customers. Conduct site visits and client consultations to assess fire and life safety needs and offer customized solutions. Prepare and deliver proposals, pricing, and presentations tailored to client requirements. Collaborate closely with Account Managers, project managers, and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience from proposal to execution. Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity and client interactions using CRM software. Stay current with industry trends, products, services, and competitors. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics. Requirements 2–5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in Fire Protection, Life Safety, Building Services, or related industries. Demonstrated ability to cold call, generate leads, and close deals in a B2B environment. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-up abilities. Comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams. Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally. Preferred Qualifications NICET certifications or industry-specific knowledge a plus.
