This position is for a registered nurse in a medical surgical unit.
The facility has a 42-bed capacity. There are 30 medical/surgical
beds and 12 behavioral health beds. It is a level IV trauma center.
The electronic medical record system used is CPSI. Each shift on
the medical/surgical unit will have a ward clerk and aids. Licensed
practical nurses will also be utilized. The typical
patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 to 4-5. The work schedule consists of
weekends in the first week and shifts on Thursday through Sunday in
the second week. The nurse will be expected to start working on the
